Owners Gloria and Howard Townsend, along with their associate, Lisa Seaton, will go out of their way to make sure your event is beautiful, fun, and stress free - especially stress free!
Gloria and Lisa are professional photographers specializing in weddings, bridals and engagements. Of course they will photograph any subject matter, including families, children, seniors, animals, etc.
Gloria has been a professional photographer since 1999. Being the main photographer at weddings, her clients rely on her to manage the timeline of the day. She now designs, coordinates and executes most of her weddings at the Hidden Chapel (most meaning, if clients don't already have a wedding coordinator.) If they do, she steps aside and lets them do their work. Because she loves everything about weddings, the frills, the fantasy, the excitement, she and Howard decided to open up their farm, Acadiana Acres, as a wedding venue. They have 11+ acres just inside the Saline County line.
The Hidden Chapel at Acadiana Acres was born on September 1994, but weddings began in 2007, and is situated among a beautifully landscaped garden area on approximately 3 acres of Acadiana Acres. It is an existing cutting horse farm filled with beautiful lush trees and flowers. A couple of the horses love wedding goodies!! Couples are able to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere for their event. Landscaping and improvements are continuously ongoing, so from month-to-month, it looks a little different.
Appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday after 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Saturday upon availability, if there are no weddings scheduled. Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
